The Club has been operating in Queensland for over 25 years.

We operate in association with other Lotus Clubs in Australia and around the world,
other sports car clubs in Queensland and have the official support of the Lotus factory.
The club offers its members the opportunity to participate in a wide range of competitive
and social events, including:

Upcoming Club Events

"Christmas in July" - Social Run
Date: Sunday 27th July 2008 9.00am
Venue: Meet at Park Road Milton for run to Toowoomba leaving at 9.00am.
An interest run is being planned up and back, so please come along.
The Restaurant is opening just for us on Sunday 27th July, so please email Wade if you plan to attend so he can confirm numbers valuefirst@optusnet.com.au

Cost: Will be under $30 per head for traditional Christmas lunch.

Lotus Club Qld Monthly meeting - August 2008.
Date: Tuesday 5th August 2008 - 6.00pm
Venue: "888" V8 Racing Team Workshop.
Address: 52 Abbotsford Road Bowen Hills
Arrangements: Meet at Shannon's at 6.00pm; as there is very limited parking at "888"; we will all go together to "888" - transport arrangements to be advised.
Following the "888" tour we will go back to Shannon's for our usual monthly meeting.

Gympie Skid Pan and Maleny overnight weekend run.
Date: Saturday 23rd August 2008 and Sunday 24th August 2008.
Venue: Skid pan from 9.00am - 4.30pm  Saturday.

Then overnight Saturday night at Maleny with dinner at a local restaurant.
Leisurely Sunday morning breakfast and travel home.

Please make your Maleny accommodation booking before the end of June 2008.
Note: You can just do the Skid pan on the Saturday if you have other commitments.

Lotus and Caterham 7 - 50 year Celebration.

In December 2007 John Barram organised the Queensland "7" owners to meet at John 
Lungren's to celebrate the 50 years anniversary since the first Lotus 7 was built. 
John managed to get a good turn up and wrote an article for the Feb 2008 club magazine.
